Who is Physiotherapy for?Physiotherapy helps restore and improve movement and function after someone has been impacted by an injury, illness, or disability. Physiotherapy can also support those who recovering from surgery such as knee and hip replacements. Physiotherapists most commonly see bones, joints, and soft-tissue problems such as sports injuries, back and neck pain, osteoarthritis, shoulder pain, and many others. We are also able to support those looking to reduce the risk of injury or illness through guidance and exercises that can help reduce risk of stroke, heart disease, joint pain, and many others.

What should I wear?Anything that is comfortable and let's us assess the right area! For example, if you've got a knee injury it would be best to wear shorts! If you're not sure - drop us a message ahead of your appointment and we can give you some advice.

How does Online Physiotherapy Work?Online Physiotherapy is the remote access to a Registered Physiotherapist via video consultation and can be completed anywhere there is an internet connection. Don't you need to assess me in person? In a face-to-face appointment a Physiotherapist may well perform a manual assessment. This may provide some hints on what the problem may be, but the vast majority of a Physiotherapy assessment is information gathering through a detailed history and supported through some observed movements which can take place over video consultation. Do I need any equipment or software? We provide the secure platform - all you need is access to an internet connection and a device with a camera (such as a laptop, tablet, smartphone). All exercises provided come with instructions and can be completed with none or minimal equipment and we can adapt to your preferences and circumstances.

What is a Holistic Approach? Here at Game On Performance and Physiotherapy, we strive to provide a Holistic Approach to Physiotherapy. This is basically what we call 'all-around' service. To us you are more than just a patient or client and instead are a person with individual goals, needs, and circumstances that we aim to help work around to ensure that you get the best service and are able to 'Up Your Game!". In your consultation and through your follow-ups, we'll ask you what your goals are, what your home life is like (i.e. do you have any hobbies?), and what your expectations are.
